Zumbro Bottoms is located within the Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood State Forest and is said to be among the best places in Minnesota for horseback riding. With over 44 miles of interconnected loop trails, three equestrian campgrounds, and a day use area this is one state forest to plan on visiting.
