From Moran, Wyoming, which is located South of Yellowstone National Park entrance, head East on East Highway 287 (US-26) for about 13 miles, turning left on Turpin Meadows Ranch Road (National Forest Road 30050). Continue on this road for 4 miles then make a right turn on Turpin Meadows Loop (National Forest Road 30065) of a mile where you will see signage for Turpin Meadows Campground on the right.

The Turpin Meadow Campground is located 17 miles East of Moran Junction on the Buffalo Valley Road. It is outfitted with 14 standard campsites, 4 pull through sites, 2 double-unit vault restrooms, and 1 single-unit vault restroom. It is also equipped with corrals, hitching posts, water access, a stock tank, accessibility to bear boxes, dumpsters, and a game storage pole. This is hard sided camping only, no tent camping is allowed.

Bear food storage is required on the Buffalo Ranger District.
