What To Expect

The trails here are wide, well maintained, and quite sandy with few rocks. Many riders fore go shoes or other hoof protection at Tippecanoe.
The Horseman’s camp has 56 sites – No electric but they do have potable water for humans and stock.
The horseman’s campground has gravel roads and parking pads throughout.
There are hitching posts with pipe crossbars instead of wood so the horses can’t chew on them.
Horse camp does not have shower facilities and horse campers are not permitted to use the shower facilities in the main campground.
