Although commonly referred to as Stafford Creek, the best parking and camping area for stock use is at the Miller Creek / Iron Bear Creek trailhead located just past the very popular Stafford Creek trailhead. The Miller to Bear Creek route is a moderately strenuous 13 mile loop that starts and ends at the trailhead and offers superlative views of the Cascade Mountain ranges, including views of Mount Rainer and Mount Adams in addition to Mount Stewart which towers nearby.
