At the fifth stoplight, turn left onto 340 South. Drive eight miles; the park's entrance is on the right.

Riders can ride 7 miles of trails beside the south fork of the Shenandoah River amongst rolling, mountainous land, steep slopes and plenty of forest.
- Land Manager is Virginia State Parks
- State law requires that visitors carry a copy of a negative Coggins report with each horse brought to the park
