Little Lasier Meadows is a very popular riding and camping location located near the very scenic Jackson Meadow Reservoir and the Pacific Crest Trail.
In the high Sierra Nevada Range of Northeast California, this area is heavily forested with Tamarack, Ponderosa Pine and several varieties of fir trees. Little Lasier Meadow campground is a horse camp with several double corrals. Water is stock water from an old fashioned hand pump. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire pit. Most are drive through, so no backing or turning around. There is a vault toilet and two dumpsters for manure and human garbage. It is bear area, but CA bears are opportunists, not predators. There are many trails around the meadow and access to the Pacific Crest Trail.
Many thanks to TrailMeister user Teri for sharing this fabulous horse riding and camping area!
