Once a stage stop for travelers between Ashland and Klamath Falls, Lily Glen is now a very popular spot for horse riders and campers throughout southern Oregon and beyond. Numerous riding opportunities exist here at Howard Prairie Lake with many easy, riding trails in the area. In addition to lake shore riding there are also many excellent opportunities in the BLM areas that surround county park. The good riding and easy accessibility make this is a heavily used area from June to September.
