No Rides Found Be the first to Add Your Ride
Here at Lassen West Village, we boast huge 8’000 sq/ft lots that are unparalleled anywhere else. They are approximately 90’x90′ with plenty of shade from mature Ponderosa Pines. There is definitely enough room for your horses, rig, all of your toys and extra vehicles with plenty of room to spare. We have park provided corrals (also, big trees for a high line if you prefer), water and feed troughs, picnic tables and fire rings for your enjoyment. We are situated in the mountains of Westwood, CA (home of Paul Bunyan) between Susanville and Chester CA and at 5,000 ft. elevation our summers are nice and cool. We are less than ten minutes from beautiful Lake Almanor where boating and fishing are abundant. We are 5 minutes from the 25 mile long Bizz Johnson Trail that is great for hiking and horseback riding. Bring your horses, Jeeps, four-wheelers and boats as there are miles and miles of trails just outside the park and of course 43 sq. mile Lake Almanor. The town of Chester is just about ten miles away and is a tourist mecca. The town’s population jumps from about 10,000 people in the winter to about 40,000 people in the summer. It can be very difficult to find a good spot to camp in the area which is why our park is so attractive. We are off the beaten path and within minutes of all the fun you can handle. We also have a few modern park model cabins that sleep (4) comfortably and are fully furnished with a bathroom, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, silverware, bed, pull-out couch, linens and towels. Just bring your suitcase and groceries! Also, on-site we have men’s and women’s bath houses with showers, toilets and vanities. There are also coin-operated laundry facilities on-site.
