Click the icon for directions in google.Head South from Red Lodge on Highway 212. Turn right on Lake Fork Road. The trailhead has parking for about 4 rigs, if you get there early enough. We have seen one particularly large rig park right in the middle of the full parking lot.

Start out on the main Lake Fork Trail and head upstream. The turn for Lost Lake sign periodically gets stolen but it is quickly replaced and either way the fork is well traveled and obvious. At Lost Lake rest your ponies while exploring both the intake and output.
Carry on to Keyser Brown Lake. At the point of the wooden bridge, you will have a fabulous view of two valleys converging. Keyser Brown is the perfect spot for lunch.
Excellent brook trout fishing especially the further you get in.
Black Canyon Lake Trail is not horse friendly.
Carrying on to September Mourn Lake and conquering Sundance Pass is on my bucket list.
