- Go 1.2 miles and turn right on 94 South toward Ivanhoe
- Continue 13.9 miles then turn right on Brush Creek Road (Rd. 602) at the (now closed) Brush Creek Store *Note: Do not take the first Rd. 602 to the left; instead continue to Rd. 602/Brush Creek Rd. at the store as described above
- Go 2.2 miles then turn left into Hungry Horse at the Hungry Horse East sign

This beautiful campground is on Brush Creek with riding in the Jefferson National Forest. Riding is mainly on graved forest service roads. Riders should expect to encounter wildlife including black bears. Some sections of trail are as well maintained as one would like. There are creek crossings.

- Horses must be housed in 1 of the 2 stall barns. Stalls are very nice and barn is well cared for.
