Click the icon for directions in google.From Hwy 97, take Knott Road east to Rickard Road. Go east on Rickard about a mile to Biladeau. Go south on Biladeau. It becomes Horse Butte Road and then enters the NF where the pavement ends. Go a quarter mile and turn right at the first trailhead parking lot (bikers use it), proceed past and choose from three different lots. There is a turnaround at the end.

Three trails depart this trailhead with at least three separate parking areas. All three USFS trails are multiple use and all eventually pass through the Swamp Wells Horse Camp, about 12 miles away. The trails are designated primary stock trails but are multiple use and popular with the mountain bike community. They are easy trails with varied terrain and some spectacular views of the Cascade Range, from Mt. Bachelor north to as far as Mt. Hood and Mt. Baker on clear days. They are a great place to spend winter trail rides. Can be dusty in summer.
