Click the icon for directions in google.Drive on HWY 82 to Carr Gap Canyon Road which is between mile markers 36 and 37. Turn north on Carr Gap Canyon Road (it starts there so you can only go north). Go 3.5 miles on Carr Gap Canyon Road to Walker Canyon Road (turn left, the road starts there). Go 1.3 miles on Walker Canyon Road and turn left at the Gillespie Ranch entrance (there is a big wooden sign). Then follow the signs up the RV park.

Gillespie Ranch is a working cattle ranch with 15,000 acres of trails in the cool tall pines of the Southern Sacramento Mountains. There is an RV park with full hookups, 15\’ x 15\’ fully covered pipe pens, two cabins, roping arena, round pen and Backwoods Treasures (a cute country shop with LOTS of unique treasures). The trail riding ranges from easy to hard so you can choose what ever you like. Guests can also participate in what ever ranch activities are going on such as gathering cattle and processing and branding cows and calves. Open all year long.
