Day riders will like the popular Eagle Trail system in the Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest with its seven plus miles of horse and mule friendly loop trails. Spring and fall are wonderful times to camp and explore the sandy trails that loop and wind through old growth pine forests.
Many thanks to the Wisconsin Horse Council, a non-profit organization representing horsemen and women and the equine industry in Wisconsin. In representing the equine industry we promote the horse through leadership, education, and service, and take a proactive role in the growth of our industry.
