There are over 40 miles of horse friendly trails at Carvins Cove ranging from gravel roads to steep mountain trails. There is something for everyone here. No hunting is allowed within the park which allows for safe riding year round. The trails are used by equestrians as well as mountain bikers and hikers.

Horseback riders must not leave any manure, hay or other debris in the Boat Landing parking lot, picnic area or any part of the reserve. This regulation must be followed or horseback riding at the natural reserve could be discontinued.
