The Caples Equestrian Trailhead is a primitive trailhead where horse and mule riders can park and camp as they make trips into the high?country of the California Sierras.
Riders and campers should note that there is no space for horse trailer parking at the hiker trailhead. Equestrians will pass through here via the connector horse?trail that connects the two areas, via the 1969?era concrete Fitch Rantz Bridge across the Silver Fork.
