Cape Henlopen State Park allows seasonal equestrian access to 4.6 miles of beach riding.
- Land Manager is Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control – https://www.destateparks.com/Beaches/CapeHenlopen
- Riders are responsible for cleaning up after their horses on roadways and in parking areas.
- The beach north of the Point parking lot is subject to closure from March 1 to September 1.
- Trailers and tow vehicles must park in either the Gordons Pond Parking lot or the Point Comfort Station Parking lot.
- Designated beach for equestrian use runs from the ocean side of the Point of the Cape south to the Gordons Pond surf fishing vehicle crossing. (4.6 miles)
