Bass creek is an low elevation easily accessible area midway between Missoula and Hamilton. The main trail is along a large creek within a canyon. There is a small lake created by a log-jam at the three mile mark and a lake at the 8 mile mark. The area is particularly gorgeous due to it’s geology. The rocks and ground are full of sparkly micah.
