This is an area set aside specifically for equestrians and hikers, bikers, although saw neither. It is Southwest of Springfield MO on a windy blacktop road Hwy 125. The access road into the park is narrow, as well as medium to steep grade and is possible to meet another vehicle so be prepared to stop and start on a hill with enough truck to pull your rig. This area is the Ozarks at it’s finest with Hard Oaks, Maples, Hickory, Poplar, Sumac, Dogwood, Sycamore, cedar with sparse pine. Abundant wildflower area.
