Submitted by nailss Difficulty: Moderate Distance: 4.75 This was a recon ride up to & along the Appalachian Trail in preparation of clearing a section of trail during the time the Park allowed chain saw use. As we traveled we chatted with hikers to learn the extent of blow down along the trail. This helped us decide what section to tackle and some idea on the time required.
