At Wood Guest Ranch there are many types of trails. Witness wild animals in their natural habitats; see the incredible wild flowers of Oklahoma and all the rest that Oklahoma has to offer in the Great Outdoors! When you think of forests, you seldom associate Oklahoma as the home of forests, yet the riding trails at the 3000 acre Wood Guest Ranch forms the perfect setting of forested trees, flowing river, creek tributaries and rolling hills. The Clear Boggy River has cut through the southeast region of Oklahoma and makes it's way through the ranch creating a beautiful setting for trail rides and nature trails. You don't need shoes here on the ranch as there are only a few spots where you will encounter any rocks. Our ranch horses are all barefoot including one with laminitis that does quite well on the trails. We have fishing and peddle boats available for your non-riding partners so bring the whole family! Our washrooms include showers and we have laundry facilities too. This series is a treasure chest series consisting of 6 CTCs and 6 AOCs in March, April, May, June, September and October for a total of 12 rides. You must participate in at least 6 rides, (that is only 3 weekends)for your tickets to be eligible. By participating in rides in this series, each rider will earn 1 ticket for each CTC and one for each AOC they participate in. Riders who place in the top 3 in Open, Pleasure and Junior will receive additional tickets. To earn tickets, riders must be in divisions Open, Pleasure and Junior. Scout, buddy riders and non-members do not qualify for tickets. At the final ride, riders will collect their tickets and choose which prizes they would like to put them toward. Final Ride – 10/25/15.
