TWO ACTHA RIDES THIS WEEKEND - Separate sign up is REQUIRED for each day. Sign up for the second ACTHA ride under the October 4 ride date. Ride either day or both! Patterson Ranch in Star Valley, Arizona is one of the most scenic rides? You will wander through the ponderosa pins, junipers, oaks and willows as you ride on wide decomposed granite trails with minimal rocks on well-marked trails crossing over several small creeks and passing by the Ranch. Patterson Ranch is a beautiful working/training ranch nestled in a valley with beautiful mountain views. This ride is rated easy to light moderate. Trails are 98% rock free - however, shoes and boots are recommended. We have added the Pleasure/Open Pairs Prize (POP)to our ride. An open rider will be randomly paired with pleasure rider and their scores will be added and the highest scoring "pair" will win cash. The open rider does not have to ride with the "their" pleasure rider. But we encourage camaraderie and helping each other along the way. $5.00 to participate. Only horses participating in ACTHA ride allowed on site. NO ARRIVALS BEFORE NOON ON FRIDAY, PLEASE. Monday 3-4 hour trail ride. 30 miles north of Payson at beautiful East Clear Creek.
