About
Join us for Day 1 of another 2-day weekend of memories at Morning Star Ranch! Bring your family and friends to ride the beautiful sandy land of the Post Oak Savannah (no shoes required for the four-legged critters)! Spring will be here to glorify the beauty God has provided at this wonderful place! Our ACTHA friends have become a part of our ministry family and we are looking forward to a reunion with you! We hope you will plan to spend the whole weekend! For you beginners, be sure to go back and sign up for Day 2. Each is considered a separate ride so you have to register for each one. We promise to provide great grub and lots of fellowship. And as always we will have a sweet time of worship on Sunday Morning before the ride. Blessed be the NAME OF THE LORD! Please join us in praying for good weather for this ride! Thank you for the wonderful comments and great suggestions after our last rides! We plan to make this one even better just for you! We have comfortable bunk style cabins, stalls and electric hook-ups available. We have room for 19 cowgirls and 14 cowboys to sleep inside, but get dubs on your bunk now cause they won`t last long! Meals are prepared by our incredible volunteers and you will experience some really great down-home cookin! Thank you for the rave reviews after our other rides. Hugs and kisses to those of you who brought desserts and helped in the kitchen! Hip Hip Hooray for the desserts! The proceeds from this ride will go toward improvements to the Mt. Olive Cabin. We are looking for a connections for discounts on carpet, brick and metal roofing. Call 512-455-2552 if you know someone who can help! Be sure to tell your friends that we collect boots for the financially-challenged teens that come for camp. Most of them cannot afford boots, so we let them pick a pair to wear while they are here. Check out those boots in your closet - if you haven`t worn them in a couple of years, you probably won`t. Bring all donated items and recycled prizes to Registration in the carport and ask for a tax receipt. MSR is a 501(c)3 and all donations are tax deductible Here is a great BIG TEXAS-SIZE HUG for all of you who donated scholarships for financially challenged teens to attend our STAR program! We are also so thankful for the donated boots and recycled prizes. Yee Hawww! So many of you always ask what we need. Here are some items that would help tremendously: A good used riding lawn mower Leaf Rakes Wheel barrels Gallon Can Goods (Corn, Green Beans, Ranch Style Beans, Refried Beans) Book Covers for the Bibles we give each teen White Card Stock for nametags and projects We can hardly wait to see you! To maintain a family atmosphere we ask you not to bring alcohol on the premises. Thanks!
