First time EVER in TX.......5 events in one location on one weekend!!!!! This will be the biggest ACTHA event in TX in the 2014-15 season. Come join us for a 5 event weekend. We are partnering Two Texas Women that will host the AOCs on Friday, Saturday, Sunday evenings, and we will host CTCs in the mornings of May 23 and May 24 at the Mineola Nature Preserve. This is part of Treasure Chest series and entering each event will get you one chance per event in the drawings on May 25, 2015 Sign up for all 4 events separately! Prizes: 1st thru 6th place in Open, Pleasure & Junior will be $$$ ALL CASH $$$! The more riders attending this ride the bigger the payout! All events are hosted by ACTHA 5 star rated ride hosts and we promise you a fun, fair ACTHA experience. The Mineola Nature Preserve is minutes away from stores and restaurants yet secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. More than 2900 acres of beauty and awe inspiring views await the equestrian at the Preserve. About one-half the acreage is river bottom land (Sabine River) with trails available during the non-rainy season. Creeks with natural crossing and bridges, steep hills, sandy soil, flat level trails, ponds, meadows, and a variety of wildlife are normally viewed on an average ride. There are more than 20 miles of trails routinely available. THE DERBY has a large parking area, a pavilion with showers and restrooms, a handicapped ramp for mounting, and 2 horse washing stations. There are 14 RV hook-ups available (electricity, water, and sewer) and 24 horse pens. Shoes are not required. The Best Western Hotel in Mineola is located 5 minutes from the trailhead 903-569-5331. Proceeds from this ride will go to the Equestrian Facilities at the Mineola Nature Preserve for improvements. We are hosting a CTC competition, Saturday April 25, the day before. Sign up for both! This is day #2 of the 2 day ride series. Be sure to sign up for day #1 separately if you plan to ride both days. Signing up for this ride does not automatically enter you for Day 1.
