Jose's life evolved around horses from a very early age. Jose's admiration for, and skill with horses led him to the Royal School of Equestrian Art(formally the Famous Riding School of Domecq), where his talents enabled him to pass quickly through the ranks to Trainer/Coach. For several years Jose trained, instructed and gave performances, displaying the "Art of Dressage" in riding, Long Rein and Haute Ecole(airs above the ground). Later, after obtaining his diploma as Rider/Coach/Trainer of Dressage, he began teaching classical horsemanship to the public. In 1981, after traveling and teaching in many countries, Jose Moved to Australia and now resides in N.S.W. He believes an important goal in his life, is to use his ability and knowledge to help fellow Equestrians better understand the communication necessary between horse and rider, to achieve the Art of Dressage. His training methods are based on kindness, appreciation and re-ward, which creates a language between horse and rider that achieves remarkable results. His many successful students give credence to this theory. Jose has successfully competed at grand Prix level over the years, was selected by the National dressage Talent Squad, and has achievements to numerous to mention. All Jose's horses are trained as a partner with which he dances, whether he partners with a serious competition horse, a majestic performance horse, or the young horse just beginning to understand the Art of Dressage!
