Welcome to Great Oak Farm! We are pleased to invite you to our Inaugural ACTHA Spring Trail Ride! Great Oaks, established in 1965 by Tom and Charlene Hilgenberg, to promote Morgan Horses, has been proudly involved in the Georgia Equestrian world for many years. Great Oaks Morgans, now a retirement farm, has been home to many Champion show and sporting horses, including Who's Zoomin' Who, aka Gus, and his whip, Tom Hilgenberg, members of the 1998 Silver Medal winning 1998 US Equestrian Single Horse Competitive Carriage Team, from Ebbs, Austria. Great Oaks has hosted many past equestrian activities, from clinics to Pony Clubbing, pleasure rides and carriage driving. We invite you and your equine companion to join us in April. Located in NW Coweta County, the farm offers a mixture of terrain from open space to lanes and trails surrounded by a mixture of pine and hardwoods as well as wetland and creeks. Come join us! We are lining up as much fun as we can fit into one weekend! Stall space is limited but you are welcome to bring your own pen(electric/panel/tie line). We can only offer primitive camping at this time. Water and port-a-potties will be available. We want this weekend to be great for everyone so please feel free to contact Thea with any questions!
