Double R Ranch is located in the beautiful Sonoran Desert situated between Saguaro National Park and Ironwood National Forest. The riding here is spectacular with mountain views in all directions. No need to shoe your horses for this ride as the trails are mostly sandy soil. Most of our ranch horses go barefoot year round and we put lots of miles on them. CTC on Saturday morning, AOC Saturday afternoon. AOC course opens after first rider exits CTC course. If you plan on riding in AOC, make sure you register for that ride as it is a separate competition. We have space for trailers and rigs for overnight accommodations. All campers MUST call ride host and make reservations for stalls and campsites. Riders, horses, trailers and trucks arriving without proper reservation for overnight accommodations may be turned away. No tie lines or panels for overnight stabling are permitted. All all overnight horses must be stalled in the barn. No dogs, cats or smoking. No meals served on Friday. Breakfast and lunch will be served on Saturday. Menu and prices TBA.
