Sunday March 15 – Enjoy a 6-8 mile Trail Ride through the majestic Redwoods at Henry Cowell State Park. Follow a marked trail with friends while earning scores at 6 obstacles along the way. Scores are based on horsemanship and a quiet mount (not speed). Views of the San Lorenzo River and Monterey Bay from horseback will make this one of your favorite rides of the season! Ribbons and Prizes will be awarded in 4 divisions: Open, Pleasure, Junior, and Scout. DON'T MISS THE AOC! Also sign up for arena obstacles on Saturday March 14 at the Santa Cruz Horsemen’s Association beautiful showgrounds. This is a great way to try new things and build trust with your horse, pony or mule. Campsites available for $15/rig/night starting Friday March 13. Pipe-panel corrals also available on a 1st come / 1st served basis (cost included in the camping fee). Reserve when you sign up, pay upon arrival. Note: the trails can be muddy this time of year. Be prepared to cross water, traverse some steep hills, and enjoy fabulous views of the redwood forest & ocean!
