Join us for a 3 event weekend to help our Veteran's Rescue and Therapeutic Riding Facility! Friday night kicks off with an Arena Obstacle Challenge at. Campfire and dinner featuring organic veggies after the competition (yummy!) Bring your musical instrument and join in on the live music. Saturday will start a leisurely breakfast and then rider's briefing. The trails are self guided, good footing, shoes are not necessary for this ride, the terrain is level to rolling with safe water crossings. Enjoy the beautiful wooded trails and abundant wildlife in this special park. The trails are mostly wooded with the gorgeous fall foliage, so be sure to bring your camera. The park has primitive overnight camping, but there are 12 hookups available. Showers and restroom facilities are available all weekend. No stalls, but plenty of room for picketing, portable pens or tie outs. Saturday's ride starts at 1pm and while the smell of dinner wafts over camp, relax and visit with friends new and old. Dinner is available for purchase. Take in another fun campfire, tell tall tales, listen to music, and enjoy the clear autumn night sky with your special friends. Sunday starts bright and early with breakfast and an earlier ride out time so you can relax after the ride and still get on the road home before late afternoon. Rider's bringing 3 friends will receive their weekend meals FREE! ($45 savings!) - Must claim "friends" in advance - email host with names.
