Come and join us to train for the upcoming ACTHA rides that are scheduled nearby this spring! (rain date 3/21/14) Trey Hedgepeth is an all-breed trainer at Sprouse's Corner Ranch who specializes in problem and trail horses. A trail obstacle clinic will be offered by Trey from 8am-12pm. All lessons will be in a group setting. Trey will demonstrate the obstacles in the arena at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and then coach each horse and rider pair, increasing their skills in negotiating the obstacles. The clinic will be located on the Ranch's trail course and consist of 10 obstacle challenges. If you are new to ACTHA, this clinic will introduce you to the obstacles that may be encountered on the trail. Whether you are a beginner trail rider or an experienced competitive trail rider, this clinic is highly recommended to prepare you for the Obstacle Challenge in the afternoon. The AOC (Arena Obstacle Challenge) will be on a section of trail located near the arena from 1pm-4pm. 1st-6th place ribbons will be awarded in each division, and there will be participation prizes for all riders. There will also be awards for the Best Groomed Horse and the Best Dressed Rider, so come prepared! Parking is located in a large open field and is accessible to large horse trailers. Concessions will be available for lunch. Please join us for a day filled with fun and partnership with your horse! Sprouse's Corner Ranch is a 81 acre horse, cattle and chicken farm.
