About

TWO Arena Obstacle Challenges in ONE day! And at one fabulous location! Silver Hill Farm, owned & operated by Ruth & Tommy Wilson, is a little slice of heaven in rural Oglethorpe County, Georgia, about 30 minutes east of Athens. Nestled on 41 rolling acres, Silver Hill has it all -- a pond with geese and pet catfish, hay fields, a big garden, and horses, horses, horses! We are the proud owners of 10 horses, a pony, a miniature horse, and a miniature donkey! The Wilson’s are very proud of their Challenge Course! It is designed to help horses overcome fears of things they might encounter on trail rides & even in parades. They currently have 15 permanent obstacles & a variety of things that can be added to the course. Silver Hill Farm offers various competitions, clinics, and opportunities to ride the course to improve obstacle skills & communication between rider & horse.
