About
Enjoy the warmth of southern Arizona at 2,300 feet! Temperatures average 68 degrees (high) and 38 degrees (low) with a 4% chance of precipitation. Ten miles and 20 minutes from I-10/Ina west of Tucson, the China Cabinet Ranch is adjacent to the Tucson Mountain region of the Saguaro National Park. Our Sonoran Desert boasts forests of saguaro, barrel, prickly pear and ocotillo cacti. Critters include coyote, mule deer, bobcat, javelina, and jack rabbits and it's the home to our state tree and flower. This ACTHA trail alternates between washes, paths, and rocky trails, so horseshoes or boots are highly recommended. The China Cabinet Ranch sits below Panther Peak and is easily accessible with less than 1/2 mile of dirt road. We can only accommodate up to 6 overnight trailers, with a Friday arrival required, so please reserve online early. There are three pens with room for 2 equines each, so consider traveling with a buddy. Parking is along (dirt) Ina Rd. or in our driveway loop, but horses may be tied up on our property with your water bucket during lunch. We have 3 ranch dogs, so please leave yours at home. Bring your beverages, snacks and chairs for after the ride. Visit me on https://www.facebook.com/groups/GypsyCowgirlsACTHA/ to get updates on the latest news regarding my rides!
