7th ANNUAL PERRY STATE PARK WILD HORSE TRAILS FUNDRAISER Saturday & Sunday, September 1-2, 2018 HOSTED BY FRIENDS OF LAKE PERRY WILD HORSE TRAILS Facebook: “Let’s Ride—Perry Lake” SATURDAY - $20 per rider – 12 & under free. $10 for non-riders. BBQ Catered Dinner & Auction. FREE entrance to Perry State Park for fundraiser participants. Funds raised will go toward campground & trail improvements. You may ride the trails on your own or follow one of our guides. We will split into a suitable number of groups based on the number of participants. We are excited to show you all the new improvements. • 9:00 AM – Registration begins. • 10:00 AM – Leave Campground for a guided ride on the Rocky Top Trails. This is approximately a 3-hour ride for fast walkers or gaited horses to gait. • 10:30 AM – Leave Campground for approximately a 2-hour guided ride on Wild Horse & Hickory Acres Trails. • 11:30 AM – Leave Campground for an easy 1-hour guided ride on Jackalope & Wild Horse Trails. • 1:00 PM – BBQ catered dinner included in ride fee. Please bring your lawn chairs. • 1:30 PM – Report on projects completed since last year, future projects and financial report followed by a spirited live auction. Please bring items you would like to donate to the auction. Cash donations graciously accepted. SUNDAY – • 7-8 AM - Complimentary Breakfast provided by Topeka Brush Busters Club. • 8-8:45 AM - Church Service by Pastor Terry Newell, Crossroads Cowboy Church. • 9 AM - Guided trail rides or riding on your own. Primitive horse camping is plentiful & encouraged.
