Mammut TR1 Headlamp

Horse riders need a flash light, AND the use of both our hands. No more cradling a traditional flashlight between head and shoulder while trying to clean a hoof, read a map, or set up camp.

This 72 gram beauty may be light on the scales but it's a heavy weight when it comes to features.

The Specs:

  • 4 white LED bulbs.
  • With headlamp set on high it will run 25 hours and an incredible 60 hours on low.
  • The light head swivels so you can point it where it is needed most, which is really handy when setting up camp and or taking care of the equines.
  • The Mammut TR1 has 3 modes, high, low and blink. The low mode is so bright that you may forgot to put it on high.
  • One overhyped feature on this light, is the Ambilight, which is a plastic diffuser and reflector that fits over the light for use as a lantern. It takes up needed space (until it gets lost) and seems quite gimmicky.
