Marin Bobcat Mountain Bike

Gotta love the disk brakes!

 My wife and I got a matching set of Marin Bobcats last year and have been very pleased with them. No problems at all. We added clipless pedals and put a woman’s specific seat on hers, all other parts remain stock.

 These bikes are lightweight and plenty strong enough for the riding that we do. I love the brakes on these. The stopping power is simply tremendous. I've put over 300 miles under the Bobcat’s wheels in the past year and it has consistently felt zippy and agile on the trail with no issues at all.

Unless you’re a bike professional (in which case you wouldn’t be reading this) you should have a pro take care of the initial set up and tuning for your ride. You can get Marin bikes from REI.
