CamelBak M.U.L.E
Simply outstanding. I have no
reservations at all about recommending the Mule,
none, zero, nada. I've had other
CamelBaks and all have been very sturdy, no
tears or breaks whatsoever. I moved into the
Mule for the additional storage area it
provides. When I'm mapping trails I generally
carry not only the GPS equipment but also a
camera, spare batteries, snacks for me,
a light jacket, my 1st aid kit, etc. You
get the idea! When I'm mapping out a new trail I
tend to travel fairly heavy, but don't necessarily
want to take a full blown day pack, and this
beast of a hydration pack hauls it all very
comfortably. I got mine from
Amazon (CamelBak MULE Hydration Pack 2008 - 100 oz. (3 L) - 5 Colors
) but Sierra Trading Post also carries
them at times.
Numbers and
other errata for the MULE: Holds 3 liters
(100oz) of fluids. 1 main storage space. 1
smaller storage space. There's also a webbed area between the
two storage units for additional storage. 1 IPod
or cell phone pocket.
The Air
Director back is a nice touch. You'll still
sweat but your back wont be dripping due to the
air channels molded into the the back pad.

Great gear, I
highly recommend it.
