Hauling horses thousands of miles every year requires a sturdy and reliable rig. Rough roads are the price to pay to get to many of the backcountry areas that offer the best trail systems.

Some of the factors that went into the trailer decision were:

• Low Weight - Makes for easy pulling for my F350 Ford Diesel

• High Versatility

Our Eby is an all aluminum, 13 foot stock trailer with a folding divider works perfectly for what we need. There’s plenty of room for the two horses  in the rear and the area in front of the divider makes a perfect place to store hay, water, tack etc. for a week long adventure. In case more room is needed you can simply swing open the dividing gate and have room for 3 to 4 horses.

For backcountry camping this arrangement works very well while also providing the versatility for multiple other jobs around the ranch.
