CampRight Truck Tent

When we first tried this tent we were skeptical. No more.

This truck bed tent by CampRight has all of the best features of a truck tent:

  • Ease of set up  - You can set this tent up by yourself in under 5 minutes. With someone to help it takes about the same time but keeps you from having to circle the truck. You'll appreciate the ease of set up the first time you make camp in the dark and rain. Also, since there isn't a tent floor, there is no need to remove anything from the bed of the truck prior to set up.

  • Durability - This tent was used every summer weekend of 2009 (June through September) with no ripping or fraying of material. The zippers and straps are all still like new.

  • Weather tightness - No issues with rain or wind here. The rain fly goes on easily and does its job.

  • Ease of break down - When it's time to break camp and head home you'll appreciate that you'll be able to tear the CampRight down quickly. The huge stuff sack that it comes with will come in handy! No fighting to squeeze the tent, poles, fly etc. into the bag.

  •  

 

CampRight makes these tents for every size and model of truck you can imagine. This one is used on a 2008, Ford F350, short bed. From the picture above you can see that there is some bunching of fabric. It hasn't affected the usability of the tent all.
